This system combines a high torque/low speed (0-2800 rpm) permanent magnet DC motor with a dial speed control and on/off foot switch and a special hammer handpiece. With these tools a jeweler can do bead setting, engraving, decorating, and hammer setting work, A 32 minute video (PAL or VHS) is available showing how it can perform each of these operations and reduce the need for hand labor in stone setting and engraving.
